Fissile fuel is a finite resource and will increase reduction and cost as industry grows to a point of no fuel source. This has already been projected by the UN and was at time 250 years now with the projected growth of this to three times that it reduces to less than 80 yrs. Costs of fuel to reprocess and raw are already growing in the fissile fuel market and the 39 countries with fission reactors are now securing their supply and restricting sale to others. ClimaSens, an Australian Red Cross Humanitech innovation program partner, successfully piloted their solution to have an impact on local communities impacted by heat waves. Climasens partnered with Humanitech to pilot their climate risk analytics platform, which uses past, present, and future predictions in heat data to enable Australian Red Cross to identify and support communities to adapt to changing heat risks. This year, entrepreneurs from around the globe with data-driven technology solutions for community climate adaptation will similarly have the chance to pilot their project with Humanitech through the 2024 QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge Humanitarian Track. Applications are now open and all applicants are in with a chance to access cash prizes totaling $150,000 USD, a paid pilot, and support from a global network of practitioners and experts. These premises stayed with me: ? Are we worth of something? Key words: Self - stem and safety. How we satisfy those two fundamental needs of safety and steems whether our own eyes or received from others? ? We need to understand the types of resources people value when it comes to achieving safety and self esteem. With that in mind, consider your existing network. ? Autonomy Has to do with our ability to control our choices, to control the course of our lives the way we do things as opposed to being at the beck and call and swept by the winds that others direct us. ? Control our destiny, because if you control what’s perceived as destiny, it can bring a self awareness and can keep yourself safe. ? You are able to think that you have some capabilities, you have enough centeredness and enough independence that you can really be in charge of your existence as opposed to being so low down there under the whims of other people that you are not worth very much. ? The concept of being “ Warm” it means we trust that they are well intentioned towards us. ? Competent it can be defined as the trust we engaged in others to deliver on their intentions. ? Stereotypes are cognitive representations of social groups that describe how members of a given group are similar to one to another and different from members of other groups. How can we offer comprehensive support when addressing trust, and self awareness to ensure safety. #connext2024 #hbso #community
