How could I possibly forget to update my fellow mathematical nerds about the recent development in the Moving Sofa Problem. It's not a #robotics problem, I know. But at least when we are not busy battling with #sensor calibration, optimal algorithms, #ROS bulky libraries in deployment and so on, we should have some fun?? Back to the update, Jineon Baek (https://jcpaik.github.io/) published a very comprehensive preprint (119 pages). So much dedication and mathematical rigor to a 50 years old+ problem! Is it a final solution, I cannot say, is it a good one? yea, any criticism or contribution? no! I do not know enough of that, I'm a mathematician for fun not for scores??.
