Wednesday's agenda: serve Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) to start the identification of Talent employees using Human Asset Values (HAV) Matrix, based on company criteria of Performance (Kinerja), Competency (Kompetensi), Commitment (Komitmen), Contribution (Kontribusi) which consist of aspiration, agility, mobility, engagement. ???? Austronesians are non-Melanesian people who were some of the last wave of migrants to inhabit the southern coast of Papua New Guinea, some arrived only 500 years ago from Taiwan and the Philippines. Further east and north from the island of New Guinea, Austronesians are referred to as Polynesians or Micronesians. Although they are referred to as Papuans, by the Malayan term "papuwah" (meaning frizzy-haired), they are not Papuans; Melanesians (or non-Austronesians) are Papuans. Malayans were, and are, our Melanesian neighbors hence the transfer of names. This practice of adapting a name from other groups people is observed all throughout the world, the Pacific is no exception. Names like Fiji (Viti in iTaukei but Fisi in Tongan) and Sepik (mispronounced form of "speed" by Kairuru Islanders, Wewak) are examples. Should PNG ever consider a name change, in keeping with our Melanesian/Pacific History, she should call herself East Papua as most of other Pacific Island countries refer to as Papuans!
Port Moresby in pre independence days was well established with respect given to people, culture and tradition. The markets where clean when the mekeo people once ruled the markets. In this short video, there is also glimse of the extinct Koitabu culture long gone but is practiced in certain Kairuku/Mekeo clans. Foreigners mistakenly classified the the Austronesians (Motu, Roro, Gabadi, Mekeo, Kuni) as local maori tribes.

Thursday's agenda: after start with kick off on the Career & Talent Management Project, then we did to facilitate GTSInternasional (as part of Humpuss Maritim Internasional - HUMI), in identifying their talent using HAV Matrix. So, based on the 5K criteria (Kinerja - Kompetensi - Kontribusi - Komitmen - Kesehatan), we have the HAV matrix (9 box matrix) and identifying the real talent of GTSI.
