?? The Shifting Landscape of Primary Care ?? Renee DeSilva's post on how disruptors are reshaping primary care with fast access and digital solutions got me thinking. THMA’s #StrategyCatalyst research confirms that disruptors like One Medical and Carbon Health are setting a new bar for speed and convenience. However, when it comes to delivering comprehensive, integrated care, health systems still hold the advantage. ??Here are some of my thoughts on what this means for 2025:?? For regional health systems, this may be an opportunity to build on their community-focused strengths while integrating tech solutions like centralized scheduling, care navigation, and telehealth to boost access. Companies like Amwell, Accolade, Inc., and Teladoc Health offer scalable platforms that could help bridge this gap. The challenge will be modernizing scheduling and care navigation while preserving the trusted, personal touch that sets these systems apart. For leading health systems, I believe blending their robust integrated care models with the digital-first experiences that patients expect is key. Implementing intelligent scheduling solutions, like those offered by QGenda or Kyruus Health, and improving care pathways could help them meet new standards for convenience and access while maintaining their depth of service. To me, the future lies in finding the right balance: maintaining the depth and personalization of care while adopting modern, efficient access solutions. ??
