Have a look at how to improve CNNs (especially MACs) on CVA6 by using custom extensions. Great paper with a good overview from the ground up build on "state of the art" #CVA6 Using the #CVXIF (CV-X-IF) interface to connect the accelerator is a great way to keep modularity and port that Accelerator to any other core with CV-X-IF interface! I did some RISC-V customizations to accelerate AI in the context of a hackathon organized by Thales , OpenHW Group GDRSoC2 and P?le CNFM Montpellier. The design can still be improved (see "future work") but still some good insight I'm proud of as I did it on the side of my job at DUNCHA FRANCE SAS and studies at ISAE-SUPAERO . It was fun. I'd like to thank Arnaud Dion for introducing me to this field (in the context of a small R&D session for my class) that I ended up enjoying. Shout-out to Morgan Bertin that also participated at the beginning by offering valuable insights on AI.
