Verbatim’s Next Chapter! New Logo Unveiled @ Computex. "Our objective in redesigning the logo was to modernize, simplify, and align with the digitally driven world," stated Clive Alberts, Global CEO of Verbatim. "Through our new tagline 'Anywhere. What is the effect of an investor creating a development platform to empower talented people across their portfolio companies? ? They push up. ?? Not like a burpee, although we ask them to do that too :-), but like a force of upward momentum. Imagine the impact of injecting a passionate group of ambitious and caring individuals into a system. This group is being trained to challenge the status quo, improve themselves and others and drive change. ? Warning! This is a direct threat to all ego-centric bosses out there, but a gift to every CEO with the courage (and wisdom) to create space and unleash the full potential of young leaders. AI and technology are amazing to track. However, the value of human beings still doing jobs with excellence is hard to underestimate. Prior to becoming a business owner, I was in corporate sales for Alexander's Mobility Services. Their culture of delivering excellence as demonstrated in this clip of J.R. Perez, always amazed me. It put into action the quote by George Washington Carver, “When you do the common things in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.” Moving the household of a family across country can be considered a menial job. Yet if it is done poorly it can be a traumatic life experience. Done well, it is a huge blessing and I saw excellence delivered thousands of times during my career with Alexander’s. From this experience, we developed one of the four values of Easy Step Enterprises dba The Good Feet Store, which is Persistent Diligence: “Having a champion’s commitment to excellence. So apparently someone else chose to visit Silverstone today to make some important announcements but that wasn’t the real meeting of the day at Silverstone Park The most important meeting of the day was undoubtedly that with myself, Stephen Watts (Managing Partner TC Group Northants/Milton Keynes/Leicestershire) and Pim van Baarsen (CEO Silverstone Technology Cluster STC). A meeting to discuss TC Group’s strategic decision to become members of the STC and very much to complement my role as a long standing ambassador and advocate of the cluster. We discussed how we can work with Pim and the STC Team over the coming weeks, months and years on a variety of topics with clear synergies between our two organisations. With subject matters discussed around key areas such as support, investment, succession and thought leadership. With a real focus on how we can work together to deliver more for the cluster, its members and certainly some of our clients at TC Group.
