Here’s a pro-tip for long-term investors: Help someone. Today. Everyday. Just like invested money, your time spent helping others will have a compounding effect- but into something that money cannot buy. The time you spend will compound into a network of loyal friends. In addition, it’s extremely rewarding when you make a difference to someone’s life. If you've read this far, you might wonder “how can I help someone?” Couple small ideas requiring minimal effort: ?? Engage with posts: Hit “like” or comment “CFBR” on a post that is reaching out for help. Let the power of your network lift someone in need. ?? Recognize strengths: Tell someone their strengths when you see it. Many are silently drowning in self-doubt, and your words may be the recharge they need. ?? Channelize growth: If you see potential in someone’s skills, reach out and let them know. Your encouragement can help them shift focus from the daily grind to pursuing a more meaningful path. I'll say it again. ?? I'm seeking an investor.... There's more... I'm ready to move forward, and I'm not a quitter... But, I can make sure that me and any investors will succeed financially. I want to succeed. And, I want to prove. But, there is some things that investors should be aware of... I am willing to share and show my enthusiasm and confidence with any investor who chooses to invest into my inventions. I am not willing to quit working hard. I expect to succeed side by side along with the developers and manufacturers who create my inventions. I won't accept then to work without my explanation for every individual invention. I have 160 invention new product ideas. And, I'm willing to negotiate shares and ownership, to improve my opportunity to EARN an investor and investment.

Sending a cold email to an investor says 1 of 3 things: 1. I'm too lazy to build a network to get a warm introduction. Signals a lack of effort and initiative to build valuable relationships, which investors view as critical to a founder's success. 2. My network doesn't trust me to make a warm introduction. Suggests that even those close to you don’t believe in your startup enough to connect you with their contacts, raising red flags about your credibility. 3. I'm desperate and reaching out to anyone who will listen. Implies that you're unfocused and casting a wide net without strategy, making investors question your ability to execute effectively. I post often about building a raving network of fans who want to see you succeed and this is why. A warm introduction demonstrates your resourcefulness, credibility, and strategic thinking, all traits that make you much more appealing to investors. Founders, are you overlooking the most obvious place to find investors? I see it all the time—entrepreneurs scrambling to raise capital, attending pitch events, cold-emailing investors… but they haven’t even shared their story with the people in their own network. Here’s the truth: The investor you’re looking for might already be closer than you think. Think about this: - A friend of a friend. - A former coworker’s college roommate. - Your cousin Bob, who just happens to know a VP at an investment bank. These are called second and third-level connections, and they could be the bridge to your next investor. Your first step on the funding journey should be letting everyone in your network know that you’re raising capital and asking who they know that could help. This isn’t just about finding money—it’s about unlocking hidden connections. I’ve seen founders be genuinely surprised when someone in their own circle says, “I might be interested in investing myself. Tell me more.” And it’s not just about your network. How to ensure you are a Priority & not an Option. For founders, looking for a long-term relationship. We've all been there. The initial stage is exciting, exhilarating, full of hope and boundless possibility. Its euphoric. You think you've found your match. . . Over time, things settle down, the excitement is "there"...but, you don't meet as often. And, It's starting to take a little longer to hear back. Turns out they're speaking to new people anyway. . Ok . Wow, for a moment you really thought this was going to go all the way. You should have known better...You always do this. Anymore of this and you'll end up alone. Wonderful. You deserve so much more. And for that reason alone, Here are two tips to ensure that never happens again, With your investors: (1) Push them to invest more in the early round: Openly declare your preference for keeping the cap table tight and wanting to work with a close group of highly engaged investors. You don't want to play the field anymore. --> This request will get the temperature read you're looking for (2) Ask them to help before they invest: A commitment check. Are they willing to pay it forward and spend the time? If you're in the 'option' bucket, they won't spend too much time on you. --> When they're taking pictures with other founders, but you can't even get a text back. ↓ Series A/B firms are changing the way they build their pipeline. They're willing to make smaller investments in multiple seed stage businesses > to ensure they have a strong later stage pipeline. For Founders, that is both reassuring and risky. Getting money from an investor is cool. Getting following on funding from the same investor is a trophy. A trophy you want. If you want to be one of the bottom 20, You need the commitment at Seed. 'cause if you turn out to be a boring experiment.
