I finally can announce the new AI feature that will change the youth sports world forever. The main goal with Athlete AI is to allow athletes to capture their best moments. But more importantly share those moments with the right people so they can take their athletic career to the next level. In 2025 we are driving that mission forward with our AI Movie Creation feature. Imagine this: a parent, family member, or friend films an athlete’s game. By the time the game ends, the athlete can select their best moments and ask our proprietary AI to ‘make them a movie.’ In minutes, the AI takes the highlights, pulls key details from the premium profile, and builds a Hollywood-level script then overlays an announcers voice to complete the movie. We are working with Kevin Frazier (anchor Entertainment Tonight and former anchor ESPN and Steven A Smith (First Take, ESPN) to establish a number of top voices in the world. The result: a fully edited movie of key moments, ready to share with recruiters or post on social media. Im telling you this is going to change youth sports forever. All media reflects where we are going, who we are, and what we could or are about to be. I recently delved into my world of stream channels, where I watched the 2010 Odyssey movie for the first time. I also thought about two thought-provoking narratives of video games like Detroit: Become Human and Cyberpunk 2077; I couldn't help but reflect on how media shapes our understanding and approach to AI and emerging technologies. Despite being fictional, these stories offer deep insights into our potential future with AI and emerging technology—highlighting the opportunities and ethical dilemmas we face. Autonomy and Recognition Commercialism and technological disparity raise questions about accessibility and ethics in technology. These narratives push us to think critically about our biases, ethical considerations, and the human elements we must preserve as we advance technologically. This reflection is crucial for us in the workplace, education, and tech fields. How we integrate AI and digital tools into all of these areas will shape the next generation's understanding and relationship with technology and should shape ours. "I made you an AI Agent to talk college football. It took me 10 minutes." I've been at the Microsoft Ignite Global Conference this week in Chicago. On Tuesday in his keynote, Satya Nadella talked about AI Agents. Agentic AI has been a super hot topic and he said that restructured his keynote just a few weeks ago to focus on AI Agents. You can basically create an army of AI Agents to perform various tasks for you. Yesterday, I had a talk on AI that I presented. As I always do, I started my talk with a brief introduction and told the audience that I live in Birmingham and that I love the Alabama Crimson Tide specifically and college football generally. Later in my talk, I was talking about AI Agents and said something like "find the thing you don't like doing and create an Agent to do that for you. Right now, my coworkers are probably creating an Agent to talk to me about college football so they don't have to." The audience laughed. Well...flash forward maybe just an hour and I get a Teams message from Adam Estroff. Adam is on the MSFT team at Pax8 and is a MSFT CoPilot guru. (Self taught, he just immersed himself in it and figured it out.) The Teams message said "Great talk at Ignite today! I made you an agent to talk college football! It is called Gridiron Guru and only took me 10 minutes." Are you freakin' kidding me? Friends, that is pretty amazing. Something went from an off the cuff comment on mainstage to an actual functioning AI agent in 10 minutes of work. If you haven't tinkered with this tech yet, start doing it. Interesting, wondering how it will develop. And how the proliferation of “reasoning” models in particular will impact that graph. Especially considering that as of today Anthropic does not have a “reasoning” model available. And of course Mark has recently highlighted that Meta plans multiple Llama 4 releases in 2025, with a focus on refining reasoning and voice interaction. The race is obviously on and that can only be good for us, users. Especially that along the increasing quality of models we keep getting decreased prices. Yeeey!
