First-of-a-kind (FOAK) infrastructure projects are critical for scaling climate solutions, yet they face persistent funding gaps. Trellis Climate, a catalytic investment program in its design phase at Prime, is working to bridge this gap by bringing together multiple sources of philanthropic capital to accelerate FOAK projects toward commercial scale. Trellis Climate's support of Nitricity’s FOAK organic fertilizer plant is a prime example—demonstrating how Trellis structures catalytic investments to unlock impact. What makes Trellis Climate different? ? Capital Recovery – Allowing donors to recycle charitable capital for future impact. ?
