Want to be more in control of your energy usage? Did you know that if you have a SMETS 2 smart meter (aka generation 2 smart meters) you can get your energy usage directly from the central DCC database (just like how your energy provider gets it). All you have to do is install the "Bright" app on your phone, register an account, enter the GUID from your in-home device and answer a couple of questions. Once you have this set up, the Bright app will show you your energy usage (both gas and electricity) AND you can also use your Bright account in smart home setups with Home Assistant to get even more detail. For more advanced users, with the help of Home Assistant you can add other smart energy devices like smart plugs or smart circuit breakers to monitor your energy usage even more closely by circuit, room or device and setup automations to turn off devices when they don't need to be on. We are excited to announce two important updates on the Daze App for our users who own Dazebox Home: Automatic Three-Phase to Single-Phase Switch: We have introduced a new feature for three-phase chargers configured with Dynamic Power Management, allowing automatic switching from three-phase to single-phase charging based on energy availability. This innovation enables continued charging even with less than 4.2 kW of power available, by allocating the current to a single phase. You can activate this feature in the App, under Network Details, in the Minimum Charging Power section. Power Manager up to 100 kW: We have extended the capability to install chargers in Dynamic Power Management mode on systems with meter power ranging from 30 to 100 kW. To activate this feature, the Power Manager PM02T100 device is required, along with the activation of the function in the Power Manager section of the App, within Network Details. These updates are designed to further optimize the energy efficiency and flexibility of our charging systems.
