Looking for your first role after graduating? To succeed you NEED to run a process. A great process has 3 components: ?? STRATEGY Are you mass-applying? Networking only? Something in between? Research and talk to peers to figure out what fits your goals. Whatever you choose, stick with it for at least one month. ?? METRICS Just like companies have KPIs, you need to set metrics to hit each week. Here's an example of weekly metrics for a networking strategy: -100 LinkedIn requests sent -25 LinkedIn connections -5 calls scheduled Commit to hitting these goals NO MATTER WHAT. No time for excuses when you need a job. ??? TOOLS Two types of tools that are vital: tracking and assistance. Tracking tools keep you organized and measure progress. Assistance tools might be an AI Cover Letter or email generator. Use both to keep up your pace over the 3+ months it might take. --- Like with any process, review your results every month or two. Things not working? Adjust and try again. But without a process, it's all luck.
