Did research choose you or did you choose research? ?? We tend to enter a career usually via passion, confusion or luck. I thought I gained my passion for research in college but recently after cleaning around my house I found my actual first research work from 8th std. I don't remember what was it about but at that time collecting survey data might have stimulated a brain wire which got reignited in college. You may never realise that the reason for your career path can actually go way back to your childhood. Explore each option life throws in your way.
