I love this because this is so true - whether in personal or professional environments we are all motivated for an outcome. The unfortunate thing is, I think, organizations as a whole entity (not just individuals) get stuck in this as well. If their "collective mindset" motivation exists out of fear, then that 'imprint' get passed on to employee motivation, much like generational traumas get passed through families. As conscious leaders it is our job to break cycles (in my opinion) for ourselves, our organizations and the people who work with us. When we can choose differently and be curious about our own motivations, then we can start to move forward. This journey is not easy or quick, but the reward at the end of the day, in my opinion will be worth it. There is no greater reward than healing, peace and moving towards love and compassion.
