Burak Oz (Ballard Power Systems) follows on directly with the topic "Driving Towards a Zero-emission Future: The Latest Generation Fuel Cells and their Role in Heavy-Duty Mobility": "The presentation will discuss different ways to use fuel cell engines in vehicles like trucks, buses, and off-road machines, such as excavators. The FCmove?-XD fuel cell engines are designed to be flexible and easy to connect, providing power of 240kW or more, depending on the vehicle's design. Ballard's technology has been tested on the road for over 200 million kilometers, showing it is very reliable and long-lasting. The fuel cell stacks can last more than 25,000 hours, with 98% of the modules available for use, and they can drive up to 600 kilometers on a single fill-up. Ballard works closely with partners and customers to keep improving these fuel cell engines for heavy-duty vehicles. Currently, Ballard's solutions are used in over 3,000 trucks and buses around the world, helping to promote zero-emission vehicles.
