At this week’s Port Commission meeting, the Black Affinity Group, A.BL.E., recognized Black History Month by highlighting the 2025 theme, African Americans and Labor, and uplifting local organizations that have long championed economic mobility, workforce development, and community empowerment in Portland and beyond. We’re grateful for their work and for the community leaders who continue to make Black history every day. ?? Thank you and kudos to the Port's leadership and the A.BL.E. Black Affinity Group for continuing to DO the much needed work to keep voices amplified and perspectives heard. You remain leaders in this space and I'm proud to see it! Onward & Upward!
Love this!
Such a powerful way to honor Black History Month! Recognizing the impact of African Americans in labor and workforce development is essential, and it’s inspiring to see A.BL.E. and community leaders driving real change.
