I'm not afraid to share that I've faced mental health struggles, both from personal and work-related pressures. But I'm not alone: 63% of sellers are struggling, and nearly 90% experience sales burnout. Let's break the stigma! Talking about mental health at work fosters a supportive environment. People matter. And #mentalhealth is equally important to physical health as part of the foundation for commercial success. Use tomorrow to remember to ask yourself if you're ok every day. Build connections with your colleagues that help you feel happy at work. Lead your teams and organisations in a people centric way - you won't deliver on your strategy if those working with and for you aren't able to bring their whole selves to work. Treat yourselves and those around you with kindness and think before you speak when challenging conversations need to be had. Look beyond immediately blaming poor performance on a person (when a plant isn't flowering we look to alter its conditions to grow right?). What do they need to perform? Be inclusive and create an environment that is open enough for people to feel able to talk. Check in on those in your community. Why? Because all of this, as well as being the morally right thing to do, is how any of us would want to be treated. Because it'll boost productivity, value delivered and ultimately profit. Because pockets of kindness are contagious, but so are pockets of toxicity. Let good win over evil in your work culture. But most of all because it could save a life like it did mine. #worldmentalhealthday
