As the weather gets cooler, more people may be using space heaters or other fuel-burning devices that emit carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. CO poisoning happens fast and can be deadly. Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include fatigue, headaches, dizziness, and nausea. It can cause permanent damage to the brain. Here's how you can prevent CO poisoning to keep you and your family safe?? - Install a carbon monoxide detector on each level of your home. Check or replace the batteries regularly. -Have your home heating system and chimney inspected regularly to ensure proper ventilation. -Never attempt to heat your home by using an oven, clothes dryer, or automobile. Call Poison Help (1-800-222-1222) in an emergency, or go to PoisonHelp.org for more information about preventing carbon monoxide poisoning. We are available to offer expert poison help 24/7/365!

Are your radiators not warming up properly? It might be time to let some air out of them. ??What is Radiator Bleeding? Radiator bleeding involves releasing trapped air that can lead to cold patches and uneven heating. Removing these air pockets enables hot water to circulate effectively. Benefits: ?? Better Heating Efficiency: Letting out the air ensures even warmth and faster heating. ?? Lower Energy Use: Efficient radiators mean your heating system doesn't have to work as hard, reducing energy bills and lowering your carbon footprint. ?? Longer Lifespan: Regular bleeding prevents air-related corrosion, helping your heating system last longer. ?? Enhanced Comfort: Radiators heat evenly, getting rid of cold spots and providing consistent warmth throughout your home. Bleeding your radiators is a simple way to boost efficiency and cut costs. Regular maintenance helps keep your heating system running smoothly. If you're unsure how to do it, don't hesitate to seek professional advice. Ready to make your heating more efficient? ????If the combustion air pipe is not connected on a high-efficiency furnace, several critical issues can arise: 1. Reduced Efficiency: The furnace may draw air from inside the home instead of outside, decreasing combustion efficiency and increasing energy costs. 2. Safety Hazards: This can lead to backdrafting, allowing harmful exhaust gases like carbon monoxide to re-enter the home. 3. Inadequate Air Supply: Without proper oxygen, the furnace may produce carbon monoxide due to incomplete combustion. 4. Increased Wear: Improper combustion can cause soot buildup, leading to increased wear and potentially shortening the furnace’s lifespan. A thorough home inspection will help keep your family safe! #HomeSafety #FurnaceMaintenance #CarbonMonoxideSafety #EnergyEfficiency #homesafety #inspectforsafety #safetyfirst #safetyinspection #homesinspection #homeinspector #homesafetytips

Five Reasons Your AC Might Be Causing Overheating in Your Dyer, IN, Home ?? Dirty Air Filter Clogged filters restrict airflow, making the AC work harder and leading to less cooling and warmer air. ??? Faulty Thermostat A malfunctioning thermostat can misread temperatures, causing your AC to overwork or fail to maintain a stable temperature. ??? Low Refrigerant Levels Insufficient refrigerant makes it difficult for the AC to cool air properly, causing discomfort and overheating issues. ?? Blocked Condenser Coils Dirty coils obstruct heat exchange, forcing the system to work harder, resulting in warmer air and higher temperatures indoors. ?? Leaky Ductwork Cracks in ducts allow cool air to escape, reducing efficiency and keeping your home warmer than desired. . . ?????????? ????????: https://lnkd.in/dhn-i4Me . . #allamericanhvac #hvac #hvacinstallation #indoorairquality #hvacmaintenance #furnacerepair #acrepair #hvaccontractor

Reduction of demand, time of use, scheduled order of use, modernisation of equipment etc are all "first energy" use ideas that everyone should have done years ago and should keep relooking at!! Failing that all, management of consumption costs are best done with a Solar PV & Backup/Storage system... and that's a fact.
Let’s save energy at home! Set your air-conditioner to 23°C, your fridge to 3°C, and your freezer to -20°C. For pools, two six-hour filtering cycles a day are enough. Insulating your ceiling helps keep your home cool, and only use hot water when necessary. #UseElectricityWisely
