Many people will hate me for this, but I'll say it anyway: ????%?of employees leave a job due to a ?????????? work environment. At my company, TheBand, that percentage is?????%. And it's for a good reason. At my company, I not only want toxicity, I ???????????? it. If you don't start at least 7 fights per week at the office, or if you don't have a criminal record or aren't currently pursuing one, or if you don't sell drugs as a side hustle, I don't want you working for me. "But that's insane, you can't do that!" says the weak minded individuals. To that, I ask: why wouldn't I want the toughest, most determined, most competitive people working in my team? If you can't show me that you're willing to take a life in order to advance in your career, you don't fit in with the vision of TheBand. Last week one of my new recruits tried to stab the lead sound technician with a 2H pencil. The original technician ended up lying face down on a puddle of blood, and the rookie earned his spot in the company. He proved he was worthy of having the job. I don't need any weakness at my company, and neither should you. What should you do if you find yourself in my workplace but not willing to take on the unconventional environment? The simplest answer would be: Leave, before it's too late. Otherwise, stay and tough it out, and you'll see why my company is the fastest growing company in 2024. #hiring #tech #unreal

Don’t let that idea slip away… Brilliant ideas sometimes pop up into our heads out of nowhere, has it happened to you? That moment of inspiration might be transitory, but the impact of acting on it could be lasting. Acting on an idea as soon as it comes ensures that the energy and excitement around it don’t fade. This momentum can be the difference between an idea that thrives and one that fizzles out. Implementing ideas rapidly fosters a culture of innovation, and it encourages us to think on our feet and adapt quickly. Here are 3 things to help you implement ideas quick: 1. Always have a way to jot down ideas, wether it’s a notebook, notes app or even voice memos. 2. Take time during your day to review and act on new ideas, small steps can lead to significant progress. 3. Surround yourself with a team or network that encourages swift actions and can help you bring your ideas to life. I’m incredibly happy to have the opportunity at work to do just that, putting ideas into action as soon as they arise. This has not only enhanced my productivity but also allowed me to contribute meaningful to our team’s success. Remember the best ideas are the ones we bring to fruition. So don’t let your next great ideas roll away, act on it and watch it transform into something amazing. Sharing to my network. Want to work in a business that’s about as far from corporate as it gets? Be part of a small decision making team? Got a “commercial nose” and know-how to navigate the renewables sector successfully? I want to hear from you but don’t apply if you like playing hide and seek. We have a fabulous opportunity to shape the future commercial direction of one of the digital green tech sectors’ most interesting rising stars. We hate red tape, we’re disruptive and we want to make renewables easier to do for both the homeowner and the installer - and we’ve loads to do so we need someone who’s got oodles of drive, determination and who can get stuff done! We’re a niche advisory business in the retrofit renewables space. From the ground up, we have developed a platform which in 45 seconds can give you the most detailed, granular level “digital twin” data of your home for a huge range of retrofit measures not simply ASHPs and Solar. We’ve also built a network of some of the industry’s most talented and technically gifted installers to then help homeowners get installations done. We’ve a stack of innovative tools working now and in development. Here’s an example of what our customers say about us (I did this review yesterday in actual fact), “I got tired of meeting and dealing with the usual bunch of door-to-door salesman types for my solar and heat pump. Genous gave me free initial advice, then surveyed my home at very little cost, then took me through the most detailed report on my home and the art of the possible. It became immediately evident that their experts had a wealth of experience in doing what I wanted and hoped to do. Finally a company that talks my language. The installer came and even he talked about so many different things that neither I or my builder had considered. I had researched the company beforehand and that gave me comfort and so going through the Genous process and meeting their installation partners meant I trusted this company from that point forwards”.
