Did you know New York City’s Local Laws 92 and 94, passed as part of the Climate Mobilization Act, require new construction to have a sustainable roofing zone that includes either a solar photovoltaic system, a green roof system, or a combination of both. Solar power can reduce electricity costs, local air pollution, and demand on the city’s electrical grid. Green roofs can help lower energy bills, cut carbon emissions, create habitat, reduce the urban heat island effect, and manage stormwater. #greenroof #solar #sustainablecities

Analyzing thermodynamically it becomes clear that much of this is at least green money laundering. In practical terms, there is not a gram of "green energy" metals produced without intensive use of fossil fuels and other resources.
