Tracey ann Nazarenus: I agree 100%. Also we should add beekeepers, fuel workers (soon, I hope), drillers, skilled tradespeople, who are in high demand. How about teachers, childcare professionals, doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians. Our military, and first responders who are regularly in my prayers. All so much more important in my opinion than Celebrities. Maybe solve the student loan debt problem by having more people go to trade schools for jobs society really needs, like plumbers, electricians, carpenters, gutter and roof installers, craftsmen, contractors, mechanics, computer repair, HVAC. Much less time in school, lower cost for education, can make good money practically right when they finish their training and certification.

Taking a moment to acknowledge gratitude to for the chance to "earn what we've learned". Our 4-county team are gathering research on the health risks of transportation exposure so we can tell that story and hopefully make the future a little more just. 5 hours ago I had no idea and before I came to public health, would never had the reason to ask ?? ?? ?? ???? Louisville, Kentucky and the greater Kentuckian region have looked at the risk/benefits of reforms that advance compact communities. Benefits include increased food access, closing the jobs+housing link, and the connection between housing affordability and chronic disease. https://lnkd.in/gu4ebEdM Risks of transportation emissions that need to be understood and mitigated include increased chronic disease, and increased risk of preclampsia and premature birth. https://lnkd.in/gGc4Crkk If all goes well, we'll have many decision points in the coming decades to make sure health is protected while we increase access to opportunity and choice-rich neighborhoods where everybody belongs. https://lnkd.in/gnaMWEtV
