We had the privilege of hosting an inspiring R U OK? Day event under the theme “R U OK? Any Day”. Our special guest speaker Christine Barnes delivered a truly engaging and informative session. Christine shared her personal experiences and offered valuable insights on brain training techniques, maintaining good mental health, and tips for thriving in life. Extremely honoured to have had Christine join us, and everyone walked away with new knowledge and a greater understanding of the importance of mental well-being. We believe that by having regular, meaningful conversations, we can build trust and normalise talking about what's really going on in our lives. This way, when someone is struggling, they know we're here to listen and support them. Today marks the start of Mental Illness Awareness Week. In honor of this year's theme of "My Mental Health at Work," we will be sharing tips related to mental health (or as we like to say, "brain health") in the workplace every day of this week. Tip #1: Have a coworker you're concerned about? Find an appropriate time to ask them how they're really doing. Sometimes simply asking "How are you?" isn't enough to encourage conversation, since "I'm good" or "I'm fine" have become the socially accepted response.
