Chimers from our Early Talent team spent the weekend at Morgan State University's National HBCU Blockchain and FinTech Conference!????? The conference explored how blockchain and fintech are shaking things up by driving financial inclusion, empowerment, and equity for underserved communities. Our team was able to connect with industry leaders and engage with passionate student ambassadors. Shoutout to our very own Kiara Collins, Chime’s Early Talent Senior Recruiter, who spoke on the 'Careers in Fintech Panel'. Eldest daughters are having a moment this year—with everything from memes to research studies shining a light on the unique role and its responsibilities within families. In celebration of National Daughters Day and Latin American Heritage Month, our Chimer Resource Group, Chimigos, hosted a panel to highlight not only being a daughter, but the unique nature of being the eldest daughter, a position that's often seen as the family's "project manager." ???? Nadja Jepsen, Kayla Thompson, and Karin Robinsantos explored how their journeys as eldest daughters shaped their career choices, family dynamics, skill sets, and more.
