Want to improve your VC meetings instantly. Then stop talking! A 1st call with a VC is 30 mins. They're going to waste 5 mins talking about how great they are. Then it's your turn. If you speak for the remaining 25 mins nonstop. Congratulations, you just got rejected. Why? Because you just spent 25 minutes creating questions in the VC's mind. And you gave them no chance to ask them. So after you leave the meeting. These questions turn into doubts. And these doubts become rejections. Here's how to fix it: 1?? Prepare a pitch that lasts for 10-15 mins uninterrupted 2?? Deliberately pause as you speak to leave space for VC questions 3?? Practice I've built a site full of practical advice like this on how to have successful VC meetings. You can check it out via the link in the comments section below.

20 minutes. That's often all you get for your first VC call. Here's how to make them count: 1. Never use more than 50% for your pitch 2. Leave ample time for questions 3. Avoid deep dives - save them for follow-ups 4. Focus on planting your "hook" - why are you unique? Remember: Your goal is to secure a second meeting, not to cover everything. How do you manage your time in investor calls?

In just 90 minutes, we mapped out a plan to secure $5M in funding. I recently worked with a tech founder struggling to raise capital for their growing business. After one session, we revamped their pitch, developed a financial model, and outlined a strategy for approaching investors. Here’s what I’ve learned from my recent @Intro calls: - Investors want clarity in your pitch and confidence in your growth plan. - Securing capital is about more than just numbers—it’s about relationships. - The right negotiation tactics can transform your fundraising outcome. Let’s work together to master your fundraising strategy and scale your business. intro.co/arthurjohnson Comment "interested" and I’ll select one person for a free 15-minute session
