We are so excited to share the news that Anthro Energy was?selected for?a $24.9M grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). This funding also marks a pivotal step toward strengthening the U.S. supply chain for advanced battery materials with plans to build the first commercial-scale, U.S.-owned and operated advanced electrolyte production facility. Pioneer feels grateful to have collaborated with Anthro Energy, providing project management, strategic advisory, and technical writing support during the proposal development stages. We are excited to announce that Anthro has been selected for a $24.9M grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to accelerate the scale up of our advanced electrolytes! This grant is part of the DOE's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and is an important step to strengthen the U.S. supply chain for advanced battery materials. The funding is reflective of Anthro’s rapid commercial and technical progress to-date, and enables us to quickly advance towards our goal of large-scale production and commercialization. Anthro develops game-changing electrolyte technology to redefine battery innovation. Anthro's technology unlocks enhanced safety and stability, unprecedented performance, and radically new battery form factors. The planned facility is located in Louisville Kentucky. Anthro is looking forward to working closely with the DOE and the Louisville community to create the first commercial scale, U.S. owned and operated advanced electrolyte production facility.
