Honored to have attended the 24th Annual International Sports Medicine Fellows Conference in Carlsbad, California last week. Congratulations to the Conference Chairs Bert R. Mandelbaum, M.D., DHL (Hon) and Ralph Gambardella, and Program Directors, Seth L. Sherman Rachel Frank MD Wayne Gersoff and all of the esteemed faculty for an outstanding educational conference. The conference provided a unique opportunity for orthopedic/sports medicine fellows to receive a full immersion into various techniques and considerations for cartilage restoration. Between the lectures, live surgical demos, the case study presentations/discussions/debates, and the hands-on lab proctored by master faculty, attendees were exposed to a comprehensive learning experience. Additionally, the conference provided an excellent networking opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and acquaint with new connections. Overall, a highly informative and enjoyable conference.
