"For those considering a career in IT, I believe now is still a great time to start." - Frisy Novel (Hacktiv8 Indonesia Alumni of Full Stack Java Script) "Joining Hacktiv8’s Fullstack JavaScript Bootcamp was a life-changing experience for me. After graduation, I had the opportunity to meet one of Hacktiv8's hiring partners in a breakout room session. That meeting led to a job offer after I passed the test. In just one month after the graduation announcement, I landed my first job in Jakarta. I worked there for a year and then decided to apply for a new opportunity in Yogyakarta. Alhamdulillah, I secured the position with the same salary I earned in Jakarta. Despite concerns about the so-called ‘tech winter,’ I found that it didn’t significantly affect job opportunities in the IT industry. In fact, many tech recruiters approached me on LinkedIn, offering exciting opportunities. For those considering a career in IT, I believe now is still a great time to start. The knowledge I gained during the bootcamp has been incredibly valuable. It’s still relevant to my work today, and I’ve been able to share it with my colleagues. Beyond the technical skills, the camaraderie among my batchmates was truly special. We supported each other, discussed challenges, and even shared laughs along the way. That sense of solidarity made the journey even more memorable. Before joining Hacktiv8, I was an active Computer Science student in Yogyakarta. Even with an IT background, I often struggled with implementing programs and didn’t fully understand how to code. Hacktiv8 bridged that gap for me, giving me the practical skills I needed to succeed. I first learned about the bootcamp through a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made." #SuccessStory #PartnerSuccess #ITSkills #ITCareers

?????? ???????????????? ???????? ??????????/?????????? ??????????????????: ???????? ?????????? ???????????????? ?????????????????? ???????????? ????????! ? After speaking with several FAANG/MAANG Software Engineers and Seniors, I’ve gained some incredible insights that I’d like to share with all of you. Despite their diverse backgrounds and companies, a few key lessons were common among all of them: ?? ?????????? ??????????: Regardless of your college, begin your preparation early. Learn languages like C to understand the fundamentals of programming and dive into HTML/CSS to get a feel for development from your first year. Many students waste time in their first year searching for the "best" language or resource—just pick one and start. ?? ???? ?????? (???????? ???????????????????? & ????????????????????): Whether you choose C++, Java, or Python doesn’t matter. Pick one and get started. Personally, I chose Java because of my interest in Java development, but for competitive programming, C++ is highly recommended. I even spoke to a LeetCode top #7 in the world, and they suggested Python—so it's all about getting started. ?? ??????'?? ?????????? ???????? ???? ?????????????? ??????????????????: Learn the syntax, watch how something is built, and then build it yourself. If you get stuck, use Google or GPT to solve the problem and keep moving forward. ?? ???????????? ???????? ???? ????????????????: If you're studying CS/IT, ensure you have a strong grasp of core subjects like Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and DBMS. ?? ?????????????????????? ???? ???????????? ?????????????????????? ?????? ????????????????????: These events help you connect with others and provide excellent learning opportunities. ?? ?????????? ?????????????????????? ?????? ???????? ????????????: This is often overlooked. Remember, your network is your net worth. ?? ?????????? ???????? ????: It sounds simple, but many don't take it seriously enough. Persistence is key. ?? ?????????? ??????????????????????????????: Stay disciplined and make the most of your time. These are the valuable lessons I’ve learned from them, and I wanted to share them with you all. If you found this helpful, feel free to repost! #FAANG #SoftwareEngineering #CareerAdvice #TechInsights #DSA #Programming #DeveloperCommunity #Networking #Hackathons

?????????????? ??????: ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ??????????????????!?? A function should do one thing and do it well. Large, multi-purpose functions are harder to read, test, and maintain. Breaking down functionality into smaller, more focused functions improves code readability, testability, and reusability. ? ?????? ????????????????: ? ??????????, ??????????-???????? ??????????????????: Cramming multiple responsibilities into one function makes the code harder to read, understand, and maintain. It also increases the likelihood of bugs and makes it harder to test specific parts of the logic. ?? ??????? The function calculate is doing too many things calculating the total, applying the discount, and printing the result. This makes the function harder to maintain, test, and extend. If you need to change the logic for one of the tasks, you'll need to modify the whole function. ? ???????? ????????????????: ? ???????????? ????????????????????????????: Each function should have a single responsibility and perform one task only. ? ???????????????????? ???? ????????????????: Break complex logic into smaller, self-contained functions that are easier to understand and maintain. ?? ??????? Each function has a single, clear responsibility (calculateTotal and applyDiscount). The code is easy to follow, and each function can be tested independently. ?? Keeping functions small and focused leads to more modular, understandable, and maintainable code. It makes debugging and testing far easier! ?? Day 26 of My 30-Day Golang Challenge!?? Today’s focus was on refactoring and improving code quality. I revisited existing code, applied best practices, and ensured my projects are easier to maintain and scale. ?? Day 26 Highlights: ??Readability Matters: Simplified complex code blocks for better understanding and future updates. ??Optimization: Improved performance by identifying redundant logic and refactoring it. ??Best Practices: Adopted cleaner, modular structures to enhance maintainability. Refactoring isn’t just about cleaner code—it’s about creating a foundation for long-term success. Feeling accomplished with today’s progress! ?? Let’s connect and keep the learning momentum strong! ?? #Refactoring #CodeOptimization #CleanCode #GoLang #30DaysOfGolang #linkedin #Maang #Faang #coding

?????????????? ??????: ????????????-???????????????????????????? ??????????????????! ?? ?????????? ???????????? ??/?? ?? The Single-Responsibility Principle states that a class (or in Go’s case, a type or function) should have one and only one reason to change. Each type should only handle one responsibility or concern, making it easier to maintain and extend. ??? ?????? ???? ??????????: ?? In the bad example, the User struct handles both user data and email sending, violating SRP. ?? In the good example, we separate the user data (User) from the responsibility of sending emails (UserService), making it more modular and maintainable. ?? ???????? ???? ??????: ?? When a type has multiple, unrelated responsibilities: Refactor to ensure that each responsibility is handled by a different type. ?? When code becomes harder to test and maintain: If changes in one area affect unrelated functionality, it's time to split it. What would be your example? --- For more Golang content, consider to follow, like and repost ?????? #go #golang #softwareengineering #softwaredevelopment #gophers
