Beyond excited to share that BRIDGE won the Best Of 2024 design competition at Phoenix Design Week this last weekend! We submitted the brand work we did for last year’s PHXDW UNITE conference, and the support we received was truly incredible. Phoenix Design Week holds a unique place in my heart. It’s more than just a conference—for me it's a homecoming; it’s where I’ve met inspiring creatives, found lifelong friends, and even connected with my wife, Courtney. Putting yourself out there can lead to the most unexpected connections, and—as I'm sure you can tell—Phoenix Design Week has been the catalyst for so many of mine. I’m beyond grateful for the incredible community and the countless volunteers who make it all possible. For those who aren't aware, this entire conference is volunteer-driven, and couldn’t happen without the tireless efforts of these incredible humans at AIGA AZ, the agency partners (looking at you this year, Rani), and sponsors! Special shoutout to my friend Barney Abramson and his wife Alisha for running an incredible breakout session on design and mental health. We all come face-to-face with personal challenges and struggles in our day-to-day lives, and many of us often don't know how to navigate the stress or take care of ourselves amidst the madness. It doesn't get talked about enough, so thank you guys for a insightful and powerful session! Big congrats to my team at BRIDGE for the Best Of win, and thanks again to all who collaborated with us on the project (you know who you are)! We pride ourselves in crafting brands that are truly unique and tell a story, and this project was not only a love letter to this incredible community, but an opportunity for us to really show what we can do. Overall, this year I got to meet many new faces, reconnect with old friends, and walk away feeling more inspired than ever.
