Our newest Senior Executive Director and Shareholder was asked how it feels to achieve this milestone, and he said, “My journey as a financial professional and life insurance broker hasn’t been all rosy. There’s been times when I thought of quitting, but what kept me going has always been my beloved family and the incredible team of champions I am leading here in Experior. I owe them everything, and I need to pave the way to show them what is possible when you put in the work. Becoming a Sr. Executive Director in a faster-growing MGA like Experior is just the beginning of another journey for me and my team. We look forward to getting to the top. It feels so rewarding to be able to achieve this milestone, and I am so indebted to my team and family, for without them, this wouldn’t have been possible. And to the Almighty God, my creator, I give all glory!” Experior asked if Simon had any advice to give new Associates with Experior, and he responded, “Oh yes! To everyone, both agents and non-agents out there, I want to tell you all that it is very possible and doable. All it takes is the courage to embark on the journey and then put in the work to meet your goals. Your goals have to be driven by some sense of purpose and accountability. It gives assurance that my business and its equity are protected and will continue to pay me or my loved ones in case I become disabled, retired or died. I will be able to leave an inheritance to my children’s children’s in accordance with God’s definition of a good man. It gives me an additional sense of fulfillment, and achievement in my career as a financial professional and Insurance agent. And pray God will reward every member of my team with even higher qualification than platinum. I’ve heard some horror stories about being in the insurance industry. I was warned before taking this job, from people I knew who had already tried it. If my experience was similar, I wouldn’t be able to stay in that environment either. But I really feel like I’ve found a unicorn. Where else can you work side by side with people, who are doing the same exact thing as you, maybe they have a license in the same state as you BUT you are cheering each other on? It also stems from the belief that there is plenty to go around so we truly all believe that there is more where that came from - kind of mentality. Working through fears together and holding each other accountable. The only competition that we have here, is the one with ourselves. I have the beauty of owning my own business AND having a badass team by my side. Can it get even better? You bet! I’ve been blown away by the top leadership in our organization. They genuinely want to give back in their time, knowledge and wisdom to those who want to listen.
