We are seeking candidates for the position of Senior Accountant! The Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily accounting operations for the organization and assisting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as needed. Essential Job Duties: - Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis. - Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. - Prepares deposit on a daily basis. - Responsible for private pay, hospice billing, & other A/R functions. - Responsible for payroll accounting (benefit reconciliations, accruals, reporting, etc.) - Responsible for 401k employer match posting & reconciliation. - Completes reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Assists in preparation of year-end reports (W2s, etc.) - Assists CFO in budget preparation & management. - Assists CFO in annual financial audits & all other audits as needed. - Assists in completion of Medicare & Medicaid cost reports. - Assists in maintaining general ledger on a daily basis. - Assists in monthly accounting close process. - Completes accounting projects & other duties as assigned by CFO. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration 2. 3+ years accounting experience in healthcare setting.
