Looking forward to discussing a few of Pharmacy Premier's favorite topics - change management and implementations! Going hand in hand, there just can't exist a fully successful implementation without also existing a well-defined, clearly communicated, fully standardized change control procedure for all analysts and PM's to adhere to throughout the implementation and continuing post-go live. ?? What do pharmacists think about AI? Our eighth session of the 'AI in Pharmacy' series is next Friday 7/19 @ 1pm ET. I’m SO excited to talk about one of my favorite topics….implementation and change management ??. Sign up link is in the comments. Implementation and change management is potentially the most important aspect of adopting innovations. As an ex-implementation person, I have a lot of appreciation for it and it’s been shaping the way I’m building Pharmesol. Come listen to our panelists’ insights about how they approach implementing new solutions to set the organization up for success. Michelle A. King is a licensed pharmacist with a diverse background in pharmacy. Her professional career began in outpatient retail pharmacy as a pharmacy manager and MTM District Lead. After leaving patient care, she pivoted to the healthcare IT&S world, where she built out EHR software solutions as a Pharmacy Informatics clinical application specialist. While working in IT, she added project management to her suite of skills. Michelle was lead PM for multiple projects, including: new pharmacy site openings, a multitude of software and hardware implementations, and third-party interface/integrations initiatives. Michelle now serves as CEO of Pharmacy Premier Consulting, leading efforts to implement cutting-edge tech solutions, optimize pharmacy software and ops, and introduce innovative services for patient populations. Her passion lies in leveraging technology to improve pharmacy operations and enhance patient care. Arsany Gadallah, PharmD, MBA is a Clinical Manager of Patient Services at Shields Health Solutions. Leveraging a strong foundation in Specialty pharmacy and passion for patient care, he collaborates with several leadership teams to implement strategic growth initiatives for health-system partners, and provide the expertise and leadership needed to help health-systems grow their Specialty programs. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and his Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Following his education, he completed a PGY-1/PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at Ascension, then served in clinical Specialty pharmacy roles for 2 years prior to pursuing his current role at Shields in June 2023. Joanna Brownstein is an expert in implementing technology-driven care models. Her passion is empowering health-tech companies and provider systems to identify and overcome adoption barriers. Joanna has tackled a wide range of pharmacy-related issues, including identifying and addressing prescribing and fulfillment challenges for prescription digital therapeutics, developing an implementation playbook for the order-to-fulfillment workflow for acute care at home implementations, and rolling out an AI-driven oncology solution at leading cancer centers. #AIinPharmacy #Pharmacyinnovation #implementationforsuccess #changemanagement
