During my working visits around Shanghai and surrounding provinces I often see and visit well organized Chinese industrial parks and modern factory premises of the Finnish companies. This week I had a huge pleasure to pay a visit to magnificent Nanchang Poly Grand Theatre, designed and constructed by Finnish PES-Architects. Nanchang Grand Theatre is a new landmark and cultural hub in the newly developing part of Nanchang city by Jiulong lake. The massive but yet light looking 45.000 m2 building incorporates ceramics and bamboo, renewable materials deeply rooted in the local tradition. Congratulations to PES China Development director Jyri Eskola and PES-Architects Shanghai, and thank you for organizing this glance at your work for our Team Finland delegation during our visit to Jiangxi.
