This isn't just a win for us but a victory for every early childhood teacher who's joined us on our mission to transform early education from the ground up. As a homeschooling parent myself, I understand the importance of providing our children with a well-rounded education that fosters academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being.? ? Sending our homeschooled kids to summer camps which offer a variety of academic and enrichment courses provides a unique opportunity for them to expand their horizons, connect with peers, and discover new passions. By immersing themselves in subjects such as math, languages, coding, art, financial literacy, entrepreneurship AI, and so many more, kids can unlock their full potential and enjoy a fun and rewarding summer learning experience. ? ? So, if you're looking to enhance your child's education and personal growth, consider the incredible benefits that summer camps can offer. #Homeschooling #SummerCamps #AcademicEnrichment #SkillsDevelopment??

This is a big conversation, begun below in the originally shared post with a focus on neurodivergence in education, and responding comments on relevance in criminal justice. From Johns Hopkins online: "?CNBC news reports that the unemployment rate for neurodivergent individuals in the US is as high as 30% to 40% percent (compared to the 10.1% for disabled persons and a US national average of 3.7%) and The Institute of Leadership & Management reported in 2020 that up to 32% of UK employers would be “uncomfortable” hiring someone with ASD (autism spectrum disorder)." I've seen gifted individuals struggling to succed in the workplace, never having known they are neurodivergent and that there are resources available. Question: What practical steps can we take individually to help us advance our collective understanding and support of this significant portion of the population? Thank you, Mariane Power, and all who are sharing their stories, for helping to raise awareness.
Clinical Psychologist, Executive Coach, Consultant and Speaker, activating potential in neurodivergent professionals. Proud ADHDer
As back to school season starts, my daughter & I are choosing to stand proudly in representing the 39% of Australian families who make up the 'school can't' community. If you're new to the conversation, School Can't Australia are reshaping the narrative of 'school refusal' to 'school can't', removing stigma & advocating for systemic changes needed to meet the growing demand for differentiated learning, #traumainformed & #inclusive practices. To be clear, we're not interested in pity. Granted, Charli & I both hope this story encourages you to be more curious, kind & compassionate toward families like ours, navigating learning without a roadmap. But what we ACTUALLY desire is a platform & a pathway that offers space for celebration of those who take a 'different' journey. One that allows parents like us to share our enormous pride, & others to sing praise to kiddos like Charli & our son, navigating unique developmental journeys & redefining success. A platform that says that their journey matters. That they matter. Both my kiddos are twice-exceptional, which means they’re both gifted & #neurodivergent . Their unique profile isn't wired well for linear learning, noisy classrooms & timetables that leave little room for nervous systems driven by autonomy, & directed by interests. We know that now. But our discovery journey has been slow, and if we said it came without costs... well, we'd be lying. For different seasons over the years, we’ve had to opt out of traditional schooling to prioritise #mentalhealth & the different social, emotional & learning development trajectories that no number of individual learning plans or well intentioned, kind teachers (and there have been several) could accommodate. Are they suffering? No. Not today. As an educated, well-resourced family, we recognise our privilege isn't shared by all, but hope parts of our story amplify all that's possible. Charli (now 18) 'left school’ mid way through year 10, via alternative pathways we sourced through Open Universities Australia. Having formed the self-belief in year 5 she was ‘stupid’, she surprised herself with her first HD in a university subject at the age of 15. Today, she operates a growing e-commerce business she bootstrapped. And that snazzy headshot of mine you kind folk comment on? Charli took that. Last year, while her peers & their families deservedly donned their 'Class of 23' sweaters & shouted their graduation ceremonies and ATAR accomplishments from the rooftops, it sunk in. Without the platform we speak of, hers was destined to be a 'small' & 'quiet' celebration. She still gets asked what school she's graduated from, what her 'after school' plans are. She's slowly ditching the 'school dropout' label she first adopted in the absence of another group to belong to. Yet, if you ask her today, life's great. She & we, want more kiddos like her & her brother, to know that there's will be too. It's hard to imagine what you can't see.

Rather than build from scratch, you can leverage on existing product saving time - it allows you take your product to market very fast, I am sure Daniel and his team can accommodate extra features you may need if need be for your cohort-based learning service. Fully recommend!!!
Sometime in 2019, I founded VarsityScape with the vision of creating a platform tailored to students in higher education, providing them with tools and resources to excel in their academic journey. We served over 18k+ students. Some people still remember VarsityScape from that era. However, as we progressed and learned from the landscape, we recognized a greater opportunity to make a broader impact.?We pivoted sometime last year. Today, VarsityScape is a powerful platform for cohort-based learning, designed to help organizations and institutions seamlessly launch and manage their own academies. The platform offers the flexibility, tools, and support to build engaging learning experiences, whether you're in education, corporate training, or specialized skills development. From more structured academies to vocational training programs, VarsityScape equips you to deliver learning that matters. If you're ready to take the next step, visit the website, https://varsityscape.com and explore the possibilities. You can also download the app: https://onelink.to/dxygtj to start building your academy. Together, we’re transforming the future of education. #VarsityScape #EdTechInnovation #OnlineAcademy #NigeriaEducation

I always get super emotional after I take some time to reflect on a SVA event. The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received through the student surveys and testimonial videos is a testament to the effectiveness of our #innovative educational approach and the dedication of our talented staff. We had students take a survey about their camp experience and one of the most gratifying aspects of the survey results is the insight it provided into our students' thoughts and experiences. As educators, we understand that #studentvoices are crucial in shaping our programs and ensuring that we are meeting their needs and interests. The fact that the majority of our students found the camp topics engaging, the skill-building valuable, and the connections with peers and staff meaningful is a powerful validation of our approach. It is particularly heartening to see that many students experienced personal growth and discovered new passions during the camp. Whether it was flying drones, customizing shoes, learning CPR, or exploring entrepreneurship, our immersive, hands-on learning experiences clearly resonated with our students and expanded their horizons. The life skills they gained, such as financial literacy and emergency preparedness, will serve them well throughout their lives. We also recognize the importance of responding to student feedback and incorporating their suggestions into our programming. Students requested a #culinary pathway addition to camp. This is an excellent idea that aligns perfectly with our commitment to experiential learning and practical skill-building. Know someone who engages in #culinaryeducation for middle schoolers? We are excited to explore ways to integrate culinary arts into our curriculum and provide our students with even more opportunities to discover their passions and talents. As we reflect on the success of the STREAM Camp, we are energized and inspired to build upon this momentum. The survey results and testimonials provide us with a roadmap for refining our programming, scaling our impact, and creating a school culture that truly empowers every student to thrive. By listening to our students, fostering their passions, and providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed, we are confident that The Simple Vue Academy will become a transformative force in the lives of countless young people and their families. ??????
