???? Here's a stigma that needs to be broken about Worker's Comp insurance for Hospitality groups: Workers' Comp claims are one of the most common types of claims you'll have - this is true and often unavoidable. The phrase 'self-funded' sounds risky.... until you learn that TPAs are middle-men that collect fees and commissions on the cost of medical services provided to your injured workers. If you scrutinize the cost of care received... you WILL find the actual cost of treatment is significantly lower than what they're telling you. TPAs have ZERO financial incentive to help lower your costs... in fact they benefit when you pay more. When you self-fund your deductible and overall cost of your Workers' Comp coverage... you will have more cash on-hand to invest in your employees and business. Everything costs more now than it did 2 years ago. If you're curious or are in need of restructuring your financial spend please reach out for a more formal explanation and I will show you the data and numbers. #workerscomp #insurance
