It is officially National Road Safety Week. It is a week for us as a nation to pause and think about the lives lost on our roads and how we can reduce road deaths to zero. Try to reflect on your attitudes and behaviours this road safety week. Reflect on what I can do, what WE can do and what all of US can do. Make a plan to implement these attitudes and behaviours every day, not just during a week of heightened media attention. Road safety starts with every single one of us, but far too often, it is easier to blame other people. Take responsibility for yourself and the community, and choose road safety every day.?
