Eyeron?, outstanding results at Arvedi AST Eyeron?, an intelligent quality management system developed by Fives, has achieved outstanding results at Arvedi AST (Acciai Speciali Terni), a leading European stainless steel manufacturer. Arvedi AST embarked on a major transformation to digitalize its integrated stainless steel plant in Terni, Italy. In order to transform its complex production process, the company entrusted Fives with the installation of Eyeron? to take a step forward in quality management. ??“The main driver of this project was to achieve the complete digitalization of our processes. Our operators use Eyeron? system to perform automatic grading of our products which made their work easier and more efficient than in the past,” says Gian Luca Gigli, Chief Technical Officer & Member of Board of Directors at Arvedi AST. Amarinth recently fulfilled a further order for long term customer Calder. With emphasis on sustainability, where possible offering customers options to reduce carbon footprint, we embarked with their order to consciously attempt to manufacture and supply the pumps with a minimum overall carbon footprint. As a result, all foundry supply components were supplied by local supplier Brafe Engineering Limited, only 7 miles away from Amarinth head office, coating supply from Abbey Protective Coatings Limited in Woodbridge and all assembly and testing completed at our Rendlesham factory. With bespoke solutions, high specification engineering and on-time delivery Amarinth remains the go-to supplier for industry leading pumping solutions and sustainable engineering offering.
