Texas Motorcycle Dealers Association annual conference is fast approaching. Are you registered?
I am excited about this year's conference (been a bit since I got back to see all my friends). We've filed some formal protests against industry vendors for multiple violations of state laws, and I'm hoping by the time we attend the conference that these issues will have been resolved and the vendors will once again be operating in compliance with the laws of the great state. Can't wait to bring everyone up to speed. These could be big wins for Texas dealers, who have long been enduring vendor overreach.
And, on top of that, this year's featured speaker is Curtis Dubay!!! Chief Economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. There isn't much about the economy that Curtis can't speak to. You would be nuts to miss out on this year's TMDA conference.
More about Mr. Dubay:
Curtis Dubay, chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, leads the Chamber’s Chief Economists Committee, which analyzes economic conditions and helps shape public policy. With a background that includes roles at the American Bankers Association, The Heritage Foundation, and PwC PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dubay is a respected voice in economic policy, frequently cited by major media outlets and having testified before Congress. He holds degrees in economics from the University of Connecticut and the University of Richmond, and resides in Washington, D.C., with his family.
With the outlook of the economy looking a little fuzzy, someone like Curtis Dubay can help dealers to focus on the topics and issues that are meaningful.
Hope to see you all there.
