Our own Mike Oitzman, senior editor at?The Robot Report, recently took a ride in Zoox's autonomous, fully-electric robotaxi during the International CES - Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, accompanied by Zoox’s Chief Product Officer, Michael White. The bi-directional, steering wheel-free vehicle is now being tested on San Francisco streets, offering free rides to Zoox employees and guests. Designed for comfort and convenience, the robotaxi features personalized climate control, music options, and a quiet, smooth ride — all while navigating complex city environments with ease. Zoox aims to revolutionize urban mobility with safer, more efficient rides. #CES2025 #AutonomousVehicles #MobilityInnovation Steve Crowe Eugene Demaitre Brianna Wessling Courtney Nagle Rachael Pasini Michelle Froese Aimee Kalnoskas Brian K. Looks cool. I rode in something similar at Bosch's Renningen, Germany campus several years ago when covering IoT. Was a smooth ride and it was very careful at braking when employees were walking a head of it.
