I attended law school in the early 1970's during a time of substantial changes in "the law". The Civil Rights movement and legislation of the 1960's spawned new court decisions, while the Supreme Court was also expanding the rights of criminal defendants and the mentally ill. We are currently going through a similar period. Not only is the Supreme Court reversing decades-old precedents and going in a different direction, lower federal and state courts stacked with Federalist Society member judges are changing the law in many areas. Law professors and bar exam writers will have to adjust what they teach and test. Constitutional law and administrative law will see the most change in the next several years. https://lnkd.in/eG6KU7uh
