Here’s some backstory on what we learned about engagement from originally starting out DTC before switching to B2B. Being part of a healthy community is critical! #workplace #wellness #employeeengagement

Health is social. This is an aerial yoga show I attended in Washington DC. The women performing are not professional athletes—they’re regular people with very Washington-jobs like “Director of Policy.” They are accomplished working moms, wives, multitaskers. Despite the other demands on their time, they meet regularly, learning daring acrobatics and designing their own routines, set to a fabulous soundtrack. All of which improves their health. When we started the company AdaRose during the pandemic, we were focused on self care and helping people (including myself) overcome stress, loneliness, and a craving for better wellbeing. We first thought the solution was sending individuals care packages filled with wellness tools and treats and access to on-demand guidance from experts on how to use them. People loved the boxes we designed, but many of them never got around to the expert guidance. Why? Practicing self care and wellness can be hard on your own. Lack of time, feelings of guilt, or planning paralysis get in the way. Through trial and error my partner Lauren and I found that people are more motivated to practice healthy habits at work as part of a team that grants individuals “permission” to take a time out. A live video session with an expert ads another dimension of human connection. Today at AdaRose we’re focused entirely on supporting wellness at work for remote and hybrid teams. We help them tap into the tribal connection that is one of the deepest motivators for all humans. Have you experienced the power of community in your own health and wellness? #workplacewellness #healthyhabits #community Cc Lauren Creech Maddie Batchelder Shannon (McDonald) Clement Laurent Guinand, Ph.D.

When you think about designing wellness benefits programs for your employees, think beyond gym memberships and meditation apps. Real wellness is about supporting the whole person—physically, mentally, and financially. One of our Compt users recently shared that their lifestyle benefits have been a huge help in offsetting the rising cost of groceries. It’s a simple reminder that employees need benefits that actually fit their lives and ease their everyday burdens. #LifestyleBenefits #EmployeeWellness #FinancialWellbeing #EmployeeExperience

Quiz time! Do you know what percent of employees use their company provided wellness programming? ? Only 38% of employees use their provided wellness programming, which is a low number, but why? Truth be told, most wellness programs are too generalized, so they do not provide support for individualized goals. For a wellness program to truly impact a business, they need to establish a high usage rate to really see results in productivity, absenteeism, health costs, and retention. Fun fact, answer C is our participation rate, as Elevate program users engage in our services at a high 70% rate. Tag people in your network in the comments or share your goals with us and we will provide you with specialized content to help you reach your goals! #health #wellness #quiz #goals #fitness
