I just published my first book on Amazon, yay! Since this is my first book, I am looking for genuine readers, who are interested to read the full book and posting an honest review of it on Amazon. Books or Devices? I’ve always loved a good book—the feel of the pages, the smell of paper. Though I've never tried a Kindle, I just don't think it could replicate the same experience for me. How do you choose a good book? For me, it's usually an eye-catching cover, a familiar author, or an intriguing blurb on the back. But sometimes, I clearly miss the mark. Recently, I picked up a book from Tesco, only to realise it was probably aimed at my 18- and 20-year-old daughters rather than me. Still, I’m giving it a go—just because it's about American teenage first love doesn’t mean it won’t be enjoyable! That said, if I can't get into it after a few chapters, I won’t hesitate to move on—something I used to struggle with. My favourite place to find new books? It's this charming little book exchange inside an old bus shelter near my 18-year-old’s place. Every time I visit her, I bring along my old books and swap them for something “new.” It’s such a treasure trove of used books, and the fact that they smell a little damp and musty just adds to their authenticity!
