I wonder whether "Khatta Meetha Mixture" will still qualify as a "Namkeen" or not. Jokes apart, the clarification of higher GST rate of 18% on caramalised popcorn vis-a-vis lower GST rate 5%/12% on plain/salted popcorn classified as "Namkeen" seems to be in alignment with the policy of higher GST rates for value-added products. Like the GST rate on Cardamom (Elaichi) is 5% but GST rate on flavoured & coated elaichi is 18%. Yesterday only I read a post on UK differential VAT rates on different types of chocolates. So, now a days, this tendency of fixing varying GST/VAT rates based on the value additions has become more common and has some merit also. But then the Legislature, should not boast about simplifying and unifying tax regimes and rates.

A recipe for chili, Need slow cooker, large oval size 1) 6 large firm tomatoes 2) 1 Large green pepper 3) 3 to 4 cloves of garlic 4) 2 large onions 5) 2 teaspoons of salt 6) 1 teaspoon of ground pepper 7) 3 table spoons of chili powder 8) 1 table spoon of cayenne pepper 9) 1 to 1.5 pounds of ground beef Chop all vegetables put in slow cooker, cook ground beef and mix in, add spices. Cook in slow cooker, on high, until all ingredient's breaks down, around 3 to 4 hours Cheers Claude

Ingredients: - 1 liter of red wine - 600 ml of water - 600 grams of sugar - 50 grams of ginger, cut into pieces - 2 limes, sliced - 3 oranges, sliced - 10 cloves - 4 sticks of cinnamon Instructions: 1. In a large pot, place the sugar and heat it, stirring until it melts and forms a light caramel. 2. Add the water, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon. Let it boil for about 10 minutes. 3. Add the lime and orange slices, and let it boil for another 5 minutes. 4. Add the red wine and let it boil for another 5 minutes, stirring well to blend the flavors. 5. Strain the drink before serving, if desired, to remove the pieces of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, lime, and orange. Enjoy it! ????

I have made this recipe with great love. Love for myself, mainly. It is full of vegetable protein and fills you with energy. I suppose not everyone will like it but it is better, if you think about it, and if you taste it well, than any pizza you can find out there today. That being said, no one should be offended. This is my taste, and everyone has their own. ?????????????????????? ? 250 g of kale spices to taste (rosemary, dried lemon and coarse salt) ? A pinch of salt ? A splash of olive or coconut oil ???????????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????: 1. Place the kale, on a piece of baking paper with the spices, add a splash of oil and stir well. 2. Put it in the oven for around10 minutes and take it out when it looks crispy. I hope you like it?? #MarisolBodyLoveMethod

Today's malt focus is on Wheat Malt, commonly used in a variety of beer styles, and a key ingredient in Weissbier and American Wheat Beer. Wheat Malt typically imparts flavors of uncooked bread dough, fresh baked bread and a subtle grainy sweetness. It usually has a Lovibond rating of around 2L to 4L, giving it a pale color that contributes to the light and refreshing appearance of these beers. Wheat Malt has a higher protein content than barley which adds body and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The higher protein levels also aid in head retention and lend a characteristic haze to a beer's appearance. Wheat Malt can comprise 50%-70%+ of the grist in some beer styles but brewers can also use small amounts to make more subtle tweaks to a beer's body and appearance.
