Since 1999, Friendship Place in Georgetown has provided a welcoming space where community members can enjoy nutritious, chef-prepared meals in a peaceful, restaurant-style atmosphere. I recently visited to share important information about this year’s Marketplace and Medicare enrollment, ensuring that our neighbors have access to the healthcare coverage they need. Through the Palmetto Project we’re able to offer resources and guidance to help improve healthcare access for everyone, including those served at Friendship Place. It’s all about empowering our community with the knowledge and support needed for better health and well-being. A huge THANK YOU to our new friends at the Friendship Place.
