What are the limits of compassion? ?? As a mother of three, the suffering of children, anywhere in the world, deeply affects me. The situation in Gaza is no different. Yet, when I speak about raising funds for children there, the silence is deafening and unsettling. Why does empathy seem to falter when it comes to Gaza? These children are not part of the politics. They aren't the headlines. They are simply victims, caught in a world they didn't create. Right now, they need more than our thoughts…they need our help. They need humanitarian aid, and they need it urgently. But why does supporting them come with controversy? Shouldn't standing up for children, any children, transcend politics? Why is it that providing aid to innocent children is being framed as something else? I understand this is a divisive topic and raises difficult questions. But my ask is simple: Can we put humanity first, before the headlines? Can we unite for the sake of those who need us most?
