B Corp Useful Insights Part 2 As B Corp Month continues, I thought it helpful to share some more detail around how B Corp certification supports our work in retail leasing and creating places that are busy and active. We have curated every aspect of Lower Stable Street in King's Cross, on behalf of our client Argent LLP, since 2018.?Our original pitch was to create a place that supports new, independent,?local, micro businesses; the work we've done since to achieve this is a significant part of our B Corp certification. It is worth noting that it is essential to have an engaged client like Argent LLP to do this kind of work, and we’re grateful to them for backing us and sharing our values. Lower Stable Street in King's Cross has become an incubator for micro businesses, with accessible, low-risk licenses that make it easy for people to start up. We're proud to celebrate a diverse street that is constantly evolving, with three of our tenants progressing to larger units within the King's Cross Estate in the last two years. In response to the pandemic, we created an outdoor market on Lower Stable Street that has provided?even?more opportunities for micro businesses and individuals to try something out. Since 2021, we have had over 200 traders through the market, and it continues to grow and embrace new ideas. We've even seen stallholders move on to bricks and mortar elsewhere, as well as into other more permanent locations within King's Cross - visit Matchado in Granary Square next time you're there! Our commitment to diversity is a core value, and we're proud to say that at least 50% of our retailers and stallholders are from underrepresented groups.
