SIAL Paris 2024 was one intense week. Long hours, some serious deal-making, and a bit of totally crazy Parisian cabaret ?? Here is my 2 cents about Brite in SIAL: 1. Stand out Picture this: our booth was deep in the SIAL startup and innovation section, between 111 startups, a 20-minute walk from the main beverage area. How did we get noticed? Bold branding. We covered our stand with pink posters, ensuring any eye couldn’t miss Brite. And it worked. We quickly started pulling in attention from way outside our little corner. 2. Grab attention This one’s a personal favorite. I’ve heard Bir?tonas Mineral Waters are copying it for next year. Andrius Ratkevicius came across a hologram fan in the States, so we tried it. Flashing, spinning Brite cans floating in mid-air? That got people stopping by? 3. Be proactive We walked around, shook hands, and gave out samples of Brite to anyone needing a natural focus boost (which, let’s be honest, was everyone by day three) 4. Leverage events In my experience, some of the best deals happen after expo hours. At SIAL, Simas and I were invited to the “Festival of Flavours” at the British Embassy Paris, and we made the most of it. Thanks to Martina for the invite – it led to a new major listing! 5. Talk to other brands I’m a firm believer in sharing is caring, so we spent time talking to other drink brands, swapping distributor feedback, success & failure stories, and (yes) even a bit of industry gossip (Thanks KULT kefir, MAD - Make A Difference - Drinks, ACTIPH, The GUTsy Captain Company and others) 6. Keep partners in the loop Before SIAL, we sent a newsletter to all our partners—current and potential—letting them know we’d be there with a stand. In-person meetings aren’t dead yet. It’s still unbeatable to put a face to the name, especially after COVID. Reflection done, lessons learned, and now, it's time to scale Brite even further! The future is bright (and Brite) ????

I love this event already! And not only because it’s my baby but because of all the amazing people coming together and making it possible! From a faint idea to now putting actual faces and words into it, this hasn’t been the easiest journey as it usually never is, and a big part of it is to finance the whole thing and bring it off the ground. But I have been working diligently on finding more and more partners and we are getting there. It’s a great opportunity to come together for a fresh approach to marketing, branding and experience: a mix between talks and tradeshow plus experience. As Oatly marketing (who are excellent!) put it to me yesterday: the combination of experience and educational elements here including a great versatile program is fresh and modern. Having built an international jewelry business for 8 years from the ground up plus being in art direction and brand marketing and e-commerce almost 15 years (agency, start up, corporate) this was my goal. Not gonna lie there have been frustrating elements: companies not sponsoring because of other partners we have … a lot of “let’s see how this year pans out and if this a success we are on board next year” …. Well this is not how it works :) the time is now, always. But this is the kick off for a larger series and all beginnings are hard so keeping the bigger picture in mind. Now I’d rather point out the help I was and am getting! Makedesign.videoproductions who will be filming all talks and providing us with finished cuts after the event has been very helpful with ideas and introductions, Studio Linda Ehrl, Standortagentur Tirol for including us in #innovationweek Victoria Strallhofer Karolin Helou, Beate Fankhauser, MSc, Christina Leipold, Stephanie Neumann-Johnston for ideas, and my other talented friends and fellow visionaries in business.
