CONTROL - COMPOSE - CAPTURE Visualising liquid levels in tanks and cylinders is not a new phenomena for thermal imaging technology. That said, the ability to control and thermally tune your device will enhance the results captured and provide an even more effective solution. The thermogram below has not been post-processed using reporting and analysis software, it is straight out of camera...in this case our fantastic FLIR E96. The real kicker, is that if I had used the automatic temperature range function (which is still beneficial for speed and ease of use) the temperature scale would have been extended to accommodate the heat source in the foreground (shown saturated as white in colour due to being outside of the selected temperature scale). This would have resulted in less thermal contrast and therefore a reduction in visual detail of the composed thermogram. The FLIR 1-Touch Level/Span function easily offers users a fast and simple method to manually tune your thermal camera. This will enhance your target of interest in the field of view, adjusting the temperature scale accordingly and maximising the visual detail of your captured thermogram. https://lnkd.in/ees9U-mW
