AIAA and the over 100 participants from more than 50 entities that made this edition one of the most productive and powerful events to enable high speed flight at all levels: supersonic, hypersonic and sub orbital. Indeed, even though we missed SpaceX , we were very aware of how busy they were with the preparations for IFT 6. We watched live the following Tuesday (Nov 19th); both the launch and its flawless recovery, the first daytime splash down in the Indian Ocean in 65 minutes ! Impressively, including the large interior images of the vehicle, Zero G-hanging banana indicator, as the first ever high speed suborbital payload;)...the scene inside the fairing was almost "surreal" , quiet, silent, considering the vehicles was traveling at close to 20 times the speed of sound and close to a million feet high!
