“K’ish echad belav echad.” That was the energy at the Orthodox Union's Biennial Convention and Gala. Every Ish (individual) brings their Lev (heart), their passions and talents, so that together, we can strengthen our community. This is something we do at the OU. Yes, we’re famous for OU Kashrut, but “beyond the symbol”? We advance communal solutions with so many individuals contributing their skills towards advocacy, education, belonging, and so much more. But this lesson is not just for our team. Every Jew has a role, whether as a lay leader, a professional, a volunteer, or advocate. One nation, with countless individuals who can use their skills to move our community forward.
