Did you know that according to the National AIDS Control Program (NACP), the HIV infection rate in mainland Tanzania is 4.7% of the total population? Among the groups with the highest infection rates are people who inject drugs, men who have sex with men, and notably, women, with an infection rate of 6.3% compared to 3.9% in men.
