Who: In partnership with Intermode and Human-I-T, Orange Sparkle Ball is conducting a one-day robotic pickup pilot. What: This initiative will test robotic pickup services for small electronics, focusing on refurbishment and proper end-of-life processing. Materials collected will include laptop chargers, phone chargers, tablets, smartphones, pagers, cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, gaming systems, laptops, keyboards, computer mice, and USB cables. Where: The pilot will cover the entire Transportation Innovation Zone, including helping companies at Newlab dispose of their electronic waste responsibly.
